Olympiacos Piraeus guard Isaiah Canaan has been hospitalized in the Medical Center in the Psychiko area, the Greek club announced.

The 31-year-old was admitted to the hospital after suffering severe pain. As the tests have shown, the pain was caused by a kidney stone.

At the moment, it is unclear how much time Canaan will have to miss. He played in both Olympiacos EuroLeague double-round games this week.

Canaan played 14 minutes against Monaco, scoring 3 points (0/2 2PT, 1/5 3PT), while also adding 1 rebound, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block, and -2 PIR.

In an 85-83 victory against Virtus Segafredo Bologna, the American guard contributed with 2 points (1/3 2PT, 0/5 3PT), 1 rebound, 2 assists, and -2 PIR.

Canaan averages 5.6 points, 0.8 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 2.2 PIR in 19 games this season.
