Chris Chiozza signs for UCAM Murcia in Spain

The former Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets guard Chris Chiozza signed a contract with UCAM Murcia until the end of the 2022-23 season.

The former Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets guard Chris Chiozza will continue his career in Spain after signing with UCAM Murcia.

The Spanish club announced that the 27-year-old guard signed a deal until the end of the 2022-23 season.

For Chiozza, it will be his first experience overseas, as he spent four seasons in the NBA, wearing the Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, Brooklyn Nets, and Golden State Warriors jersey.

Chiozza went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft but managed to make 91 NBA appearances, averaging 3.3 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.

The last time Chiozza played in the NBA was back in the 2021-22 season, when he made 34 appearances for the Warriors, averaging 2.0 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.

In the 2022-23 season, Chiozza played in the G-League for the Long Island Nets, averaging 12.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 9.0 assists over 30 contests.

Murcia has a 10-15 record in the Spanish ACB league and stands in 12th place in the competition.
