Partizan collect 1.7 million euros from fans to resolve pending debts

A total of 196,358,862 Serbian dinars have been donated to Partizan by their fans, a number which amounts to around €1,674,000. The payer of the highest amount will receive a lifetime honorary courtside seat that will wear the number 1,992 in honor of the year the club won its first and only EuroLeague trophy.

Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade started a program in April that invited the club's fans to financially support the organization in its effort to repay the pending tax debt. The final result of the initiative has been announced.

The Serbian team revealed that a total of 196,358,862 Serbian dinars have been donated which amounts to around €1,674,000.

In the middle of April, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic revealed that Partizan owe a total of €7.2 million to the country.

With the start of the initiative, Partizan announced that the names of the 1,992 largest donors will be engraved on the Stark Arena court, where the black-and-whites will play their matches as hosts next season.

Additionally, every person who donates more than 3,000 dinars will receive a free T-shirt with printed signatures of players and coach Zeljko Obradovic as a gift, as well as a free membership card in the Standard category.

Each member of the Partizan board brought in approximately €100,000 each, including the club's president Ostoja Mijailovic. Among the famous people on the list of donors are Dusko Pjetlovic (two-time Olympic gold medalist in water polo), Oklahoma City Thunder's forward Aleksej Pokusevski, and Fulham FC forward Aleksandar Mitrovic.
