After a season of struggles in Italy, Niccolo Mannion will continue his career in another EuroLeague club.
First reported by Emiliano Carchia from Sportando, the Italian guard has a deal with Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz. BasketNews sources confirmed the information.
His deal with Virtus Segafredo Bologna expired after the 2022-23 season.
Mannion was a role player, often struggling to find significant minutes on the team this year. In 19 games in the EuroLeague, the 22-year-old averaged 5.9 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists for 5.3 PIR in 13 minutes of playing time.
His stats were better in the Italian league (Lega Basket) - 9.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists for 9.4 PIR in 20 minutes per game.
Before the season begins, Mannion is expected to play for the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Summer League in July.
