Bentil averaged 8.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists for 8.3 PIR in the EuroLeague for Crvena Zvezda.
After switching teams twice in the last two seasons, Ben Bentil is set to do it again.
The player released a message on Instagram, announcing his departure from Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade.
"Another season in the books, thank you, Lord. Unforgettable memories with a great group of guys. Red Star fans will forever have a place in my heart. Thank y’all for all the love thru the ups & downs, truly appreciate y’all," Bentil wrote.
In 30 games in the EuroLeague this past season, Bentil averaged 8.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists for 8.3 PIR for Crvena Zvezda. His numbers in the ABA League were similar - 8.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists for 8.7 PIR.
Together with Crvena Zvezda, Bentil won the Serbian League and the Serbian Cup this year.
Crvena Zvezda lost two starting-five players this offseason (Luca Vildoza and Ben Bentil) but extended the contract with Luka Mitrovic and signed Dejan Davidovac.
