Tamir Blatt arrives in Tel Aviv on a two-year deal.
Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv signed point guard Tamir Blatt for the next two years, per the official announcement.
"I am happy to return home to Israel," Blatt said. "I am proud to join Maccabi Tel Aviv, one of the biggest teams in all of Europe. I look forward to meeting the team, my teammates, and the crowd, and want to use my experience in the EuroLeague to help the club achieve all its goals."
Last season, his second in the EuroLeague, the 26-year-old averaged 7.2 points and 4.5 assists in 19:26 minutes per game with ALBA Berlin, while going 36.3% from distance and 89.5% from the free-throw line.
Blatt reunites with coach Oded Kattash, who successfully coached the player at Hapoel Jerusalem and the Israeli national team.
Meanwhile, Tamir's father David Blatt is the chairman of the professional committee at Maccabi.
