Bean played for the Boston Celtics in the Summer League. He signed a three-year deal to play for ALBA after previously competing in the G-League.
After weeks of waiting, ALBA Berlin have announced the arrival of their first newcomer.
The German club has officially signed a three-year deal with power forward Justin Bean.
Bean spent the offseason playing for the Boston Celtics in the NBA Summer League. In 5 games in Las Vegas, the ALBA's newcomer averaged 7.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game on 53.3% shooting and 46.2% three-point shooting.

The 2.01-meter American went undrafted in the summer of 2022 and later joined Memphis Grizzlies' affiliate in the G-League, Memphis Hustle. Bean averaged 10.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists over 26.6 minutes in 31 games last season.
"Europe will be an exciting new experience for me. Being able to call Berlin my home now is a dream come true. European basketball is characterized by a lot of skill and good coaching. The transition from the G-League to the EuroLeague is a challenge I'm really looking forward to," he said following the signing.
"ALBA itself has always helped players in the past to bring their game to a very high level, especially in my position," Bean continued. "So I'm really looking forward to learning from Coach Gonzalez and his team. I will give everything to be successful together with the team."
