Arturs Kurucs was on an expiring deal with Baskonia.
The 23-year-old Latvian guard Arturs Kurucs, with a tally of 161 official games under his belt, is officially parting ways with Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz.
Arriving in Vitoria back in 2015, Kurucs has formed as a professional basketball player there.
Throughout his stint with the Basques, he participated in 91 ACB and 70 EuroLeague games.
Kurucs' connection with Baskonia began, when he was just 15 years old, joining their youth academy structure. Over the years, he made significant strides, progressing through the junior and LEB Plata teams before finally earning his place in Baskonia's first team.
His record includes the first-place finish in the 2020 ACB League during the final phase held in Valencia.
Last season, Kurucs appeared in 23 EuroLeague games and posted 1.5 points per match.
