Is the Spanish path a way to go for Barcelona?

After the departures of coach Sarunas Jasikevicius and star Nikola Mirotic, Barcelona decided to invest heavily in local talent. Willy Hernangomez, Joel Parra, and Dario Brizuela will form the building block of Spanish talent that will lead the team into a new era.

Last week, FC Barcelona officially terminated the contract of their superstar Nikola Mirotic. It was a unilateral decision from the club, which means that the whole situation will end up in a courtroom.

But with the departure of Mirotic and the decision not to continue with Sarunas Jasikevicius as head coach of the team, an era in Barcelona officially came to an end.

It was something expected. Due to the difficult financial situation, Barcelona already decided that the basketball section budget would be reduced considerably.
