If their defeat by Latvia and Brazil's win over Canada were not enough, Spain are dealing with another problem ahead of their crucial game against Canada that will decide which of the two will advance to the World Cup quarter-finals.

Sergio Llull, 36, arrived at Spain's training camp suffering from physical discomfort, something that caused him not to play many of the preparation matches. In February he sustained an injury to his left knee, which limited him even during the postseason.

During the game against Latvia, he suffered a contusion on his left knee, a setback that might leave the veteran guard out of the game against Canada on Sunday.

According to the Spanish Basketball Federation, Llull's participation is pending further evaluation. The FEB will monitor his physical condition to keep him at 100%.

Llull produced 5 points and 7 assists in Spain's loss to Latvia Friday. If Llull doesn't make it, Scariolo will have to rely on Juan Nunez and Alberto Diaz for the point guard duties.
