Brandon Paul is close to signing a deal with Buducnost Podgorica, sources tell BasketNews.

A 32-year-old wing played a pivotal role in ratiopharm Ulm's unexpected triumph in the German Bundesliga last season.

During the four final series games against Telekom Baskets Bonn, Paul averaged 14.8 points (42.1% 3P) and contributed 3.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

Ulm's remarkable journey to clinching the German title saw them defeat EuroLeague teams ALBA Berlin and FC Bayern Munich in the playoffs.

In 11 playoff appearances, Paul maintained his solid performance, averaging 12.6 points while shooting at an impressive 44.3% from three-point range.

Brandon Paul has previously played for teams like Joventut Badalona, Olympiacos Piraeus, Anadolu Efes Istanbul, and the San Antonio Spurs.

Buducnost is set to take on the challenge of competing in the EuroCup this season. Their opponents will include Lietkabelis Panevezys, Aris Thessaloniki, Dolomiti Energia Trento, Dreamland Gran Canaria, JL Bourg en Bresse, Slask Wroclaw, Turk Telekom Ankara, U-BT Cluj-Napoca, and Paul's former team, Ulm.
