ALBA's Yannick Wetzell faces a six-week absence from basketball due to an ankle injury.
ALBA Berlin big man Yannick Wetzell is set to be sidelined from basketball action for approximately six weeks due to an ankle injury, as officially announced by the German team.
The announcement came on Monday, before ALBA's second game in the domestic league against Crailsheim Merlins, which they comfortably won 110-75.
Wetzell had recently concluded his participation in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 with the New Zealand national team. Across five games, he averaged 8.4 points and 5.2 rebounds, while his team finished 22nd.
