Mitoglou is set to start fully practicing on Thursday, October 19th, and is projected to be available for head coach Ergin Ataman starting from Greek League game against Lavrio on Monday, October 23rd.
Panathinaikos Athens forward Dinos Mitoglou has been sidelined for multiple weeks due to an injury he picked up during the Greek Super Cup. His return to the court is getting near.
The 27-year-old forward left team practice in late September due to a second-degree contusion in his left calf. The initial projected timeline was for him to miss three weeks of action.
The rehabilitation process has been going on as planned, and the player should return to team practice on Thursday, October 19th - exactly three weeks after the day of the injury, SDNA writes.
Panathinaikos Athens / Schedule
Mitoglou is projected to be available for head coach Ergin Ataman for the Greek League game against Lavrio on Monday, October 23rd.
If there are no setbacks, the forward should compete in the EuroLeague against Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz on Friday, October 27th, and against Olympiacos Piraeus on Monday, October 30th.
Panathinaikos haven't had the best of starts in the EuroLeague so far, losing two of the first three games. Mitoglou's return would provide the team with extra flexibility in the frontcourt.
