Zalgiris announced that Butkevicius will miss at least 2-3 months of action due to a foot injury he suffered in the last EuroLeague game against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan.
Butkevicius collapsed to the floor after performing a pass during the first minutes of the third quarter and had to be helped off the court. The Lithuanian forward did not return to the game.
According to BasketNews sources, a foot injury had already been bugging the player earlier, but he played through it.
Butkevicius has been averaging 4.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 5.1 PIR per game in 10 EuroLeague appearances this season.
