Former Zalgiris Kaunas head coach, Martin Schiller, won the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT) case against the Lithuanian club.
The BAT ordered Zalgiris to pay Schiller the remaining €193.5 thousand for his work during the 2021-22 season. On top of that, the Austrian tactician was awarded €20.5 thousand for legal expenses.
The BAT decision is not subject to appeal and is final.

The case also revealed Schiller's salary. In the 2020-21 season, Schiller earned €224 thousand (after taxes), while in the 2021-22 campaign, he earned €255.8 thousand (after taxes).

After the stage in Kaunas, Schiller signed a contract with Casademont Saragosa, but he was dismissed in October 2022 and has been unemployed since then.
