Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade parted ways with Serbian veteran Ognjen Kuzmic.
Ognjen Kuzmic, a veteran of the EuroLeague, parted ways with his long-term team, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade.
The club announced that the player's contract was mutually ended, making him a free agent now.
Previously, Crvena Zvezda head coach Ioannis Sfairopoulos had announced that the team would part ways with Kuzmic after the signing of Freddie Gillespie from FC Bayern Munich.

With Gillespie's signing, Crvena Zvezda's frontcourt became very populous with players such as Luka Mitrovic, Joel Bolomboy, Mike Tobey, Marko Simonovic, Dejan Davidovac and Dalibor Ilic.
The 33-year-old Kuzmic became a player of Crvena Zvezda first in the 2016-17 season. After a two-year stint at Real Madrid, he rejoined the team in 2019 and continued to serve until now.
Kuzmic has only appeared in three games with the Serbian team this year in the EuroLeague. He has not scored any points but has averages of 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in those games.
