Edy Tavares, Sergio Llull recover from injuries

Edy Tavares (ankle) and Sergio Llull (plantar fascia) recovered from injuries and are expected to play in the upcoming EuroLeague game against Olimpia Milan.

Real Madrid welcomed great news as team stars Edy Tavares and Sergio Llull are set to make their returns.

Carlos Sanchez Blas reports that both Real players recovered from injuries and will definitely play in the upcoming Copa del Rey tournament in Malaga.

However, Carlos Sanchez Blas also notes that Tavares and Llull are expected to travel with the team for Thursday's game against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan.

Tavares and Llull haven't played since January 11, when Real Madrid faced Valencia in the EuroLeague matchup.

Tavares has been sidelined with an injury to the external lateral ligament of his right ankle. Meanwhile, Llull couldn't play due to an injury to his right foot's plantar fascia.

Tavares averages 10.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.9 blocks, and 16.6 PIR per game in 20 EuroLeague appearances this season.

Meanwhile, Llull contributes with 8.4 points, 1.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 5.9 PIR per game in 21 appearances.
