Mike Tobey, Javonte Smart, Freddie Gillespie, and newcomer Trey Thompkins will not play in the upcoming Radivoj Korac Cup.
Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade have revealed their roster for the upcoming Radivoj Korac Cup, following in the footsteps of their eternal rivals, Partizan.
Due to restrictions, the red-and-white club had to make some tough decisions, resulting in the exclusion of four foreign players: Mike Tobey, Javonte Smart, Freddie Gillespie, and newcomer Trey Thompkins.
Coach Ioannis Sfairopoulos has opted to include Adam Hanga, Joel Bolomboy, Rokas Gedraitis, and Yago dos Santos instead of the aforementioned quartet.
Alongside these players, the team includes local athletes such as Milos Teodosic, who missed the recent games against Zalgiris and Zadar, as well as Stefan Lazarevic, Dejan Davidovac, Luka Mitrovic, Branko Lazic, Dalibor Ilic, Nemanja Nedovic, Andrej Lucic, Andrej Kostic, and Stefan Marjanovic.
Zvezda are set to kick off their Radivoj Korac Cup campaign with a quarter-final clash against FMP on Wednesday.
