Olympiacos Piraeus guard Nigel Williams-Goss had to exit the quarterfinal game against Peristeri bwin with an injury.
Nigel Williams-Goss, who was a last summer edition to Olympiacos Piraeus, has suffered an injury in the Greek Cup quarterfinals game.
In the match-up against Peristeri bwin, the American guard exited the game in the second quarter, feeling discomfort in his left bicep.
Williams-Goss has not returned and will not return for the rest of the game, and he will get an MRI taken to determine the extent of his injury.
Unfortunately, the 2023-24 season has been an injury-plagued one for the guard, and it is currently unknown if coach Giorgos Bartzokas will be able to count on his services for the remainder of the Greek Cup if, indeed, Olympiacos progresses.
So far, Williams-Goss is averaging 9.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1 steal per game in the Greek Basketball League.
