BasketNews sources indicated back in August 2023 about LeDay nearing an acquisition of Azerbaijani passport. The forward now seems to have finished the required procedures.
LeDay has been officially included in the Azerbaijani national team's final 12-man roster for the 2027 FIBA World Cup European Pre-Qualifiers.
Azerbaijan's first game is scheduled against Switzerland on Thursday, February 22nd. The second game of the FIBA window will come on Sunday, February 25th, against Kosovo.
LeDay has been averaging 9.5 points and 4.2 rebounds for 12.5 PIR in the EuroLeague this season.
