American power forward Trey Thompkins has extended his contract with Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade until the end of the current 2023-24 season.
The former EuroLeague champion initially signed a one-month contract on February 7. The Serbian club then activated the extension option on March 7, 2024.
Following a full recovery from injury, Thompkins will continue to don the red-and-white jersey until the season's finale.

His stint with the team cost less than 20,000 euros over the two-month period, as disclosed by the president.
At 33 years old, Thompkins made his Crvena Zvezda debut on Sunday in the ABA League game against Split, contributing four points in ten minutes of play.
Thompkins might hit the EuroLeague court during Crvena Zvezda's last regular-season match against Anadolu Efes this Thursday. Coach Ioannis Sfairopolous confirmed on Wednesday morning that Thompkins is available.
