According to an announcement by the club, Hanga received a fracture of the third metacarpal bone of his left hand in a training session today. His situation will be reassessed on Thursday to see if he needs surgery or not and how much time he will miss.
Consequently, the forward will at least miss the second game of the ABA League playoffs, where Crvena Zvezda is currently up 1-0 against SC Derby.
In a best-of-three series, Crvena Zvezda will go to the semifinals if they beat SC Derby in the upcoming game, which will be played in Podgorica on April 22.
The 35-year-old forward is averaging 6.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game in the ABA League.
