The German club announced that Matteo Spagnolo will undergo surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.
The Italian guard will be out for three to four months due to a foot injury, ALBA added.

At 21 years old, Spagnolo averaged 7.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game for 6.1 PIR in the EuroLeague this season.
Additionally, Ziga Samar has been diagnosed with a damaged Achilles, which will sideline the guard for an undisclosed time.
With 23 wins and 5 losses, ALBA are currently in second place in the BBL. Although FC Bayern Munich have as many wins as ALBA, they are positioned in first place. The two teams haven't met in the BBL this season yet.
