In a surprising move, Spanish head coach Pablo Laso and German powerhouse FC Bayern have parted ways after just one season together
FC Bayern Munich announced that the team's head coach Pablo Laso decided to leave the club.
In Bayern's statement, it's said that Laso made such a decision due to family reasons.
In his first and now only season at Bayern Munich, Laso was able to win the German league title.
Bayern, though, failed to impress in the EuroLeague, finishing the regular season with a record of just 13 wins and 21 losses.
After a long tenure at Real Madrid, in which he won pretty much everything, Laso stayed put for one season before returning to coaching and accepting Bayern's offer.
What was supposed to be the beginning of a long-term project, though, didn't really last and now Bayern will begin looking for a new head coach.
