Tyrique Jones is set to sign a two-year deal with Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, according to BasketNews' Donatas Urbonas.
The news about Jones heading to Partizan was first reported by TeleSport.rs.
Despite having a year left on his contract with Anadolu Efes Istanbul, the 27-year-old American big man is leaving the Turkish team after one season.
Jones made his EuroLeague debut this past season, averaging 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 9.5 PIR across 34 games, starting in 8 of them. He boasted efficient shooting with a 63.4% success rate on two-pointers and 66.7% from the free-throw line.
Jones joined Anadolu Efes after his MVP campaign in the Turkish League with Turk Telekom Ankara, during which he averaged 14.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 21.4 PIR. The same year, he also made the All-EuroCup Second Team.
The big man began his professional career after going undrafted. He started in South Korea in 2020 before moving on to play for Hapoel Tel Aviv and Pesaro, ultimately establishing himself in Turkey with Ankara.
On Thursday, BasketNews also reported that Partizan are expected to add Isiaha Mike on a two-year deal.
