Luca Vildoza joins Olympiacos on a two-year contract after departing Panathinaikos.
Olympiacos Piraeus have officially announced the signing of Luca Vildoza. The Argentinian guard joins the Reds on a two-year contract.
Last summer, the 28-year-old inked a three-year deal with Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens and helped them in their EuroLeague and Greek League triumphs. Despite these successes, he struggled to earn the trust of coach Ergin Ataman and has now parted ways with the team.
During the 2023-24 season, Vildoza posted averages of 5.7 points (shooting 42% from 2-point range, 37% from beyond the arc, and 76% from the free-throw line), along with 1.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 4.5 PIR in 14:56 minutes per game across 28 EuroLeague appearances.
In the Greek Basket League, he contributed 6.3 points, 3.0 assists, and 1.4 rebounds per game.
Before his stint with PAO, Vildoza played for Crvena Zvezda and Baskonia in the EuroLeague.
