Lorenzo Brown discussed the Olympic Qualifying tournament against the Bahamas and his emotions about making it into the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Lorenzo Brown played a big part in guiding Spain to its 7th consecutive Olympic basketball tournament.
However, for Brown, it will be his debut at the Olympic basketball tournament.
"Man, it's an amazing feeling," Brown said in the mixed zone straight after the game. "Best athletes in the world go to the Olympics. Not everybody gets to do this. So, the feeling is just surreal."

"Like I said, I'm gonna take these blessings every step of the way and keep pushing," Brown added.

The 33-year-old is far from retiring, but he could already call his basketball career a success. He spent 5 seasons in the NBA, was named G League MVP in 2018, won three titles with Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, and made All-EuroLeague First and Second Teams in the last two seasons.
That being said, would Brown call the upcoming appearance in the Olympics his biggest achievement of his career?
"Most definitely my biggest achievement in my career," Brown said without a doubt. "Like I said, not everybody can do this. Just to have my name in the Olympic book of history is a great achievement."
Brown finished the game against the Bahamas with 18 points (2/9 2PT, 4/5 3PT, 2/2 FT), 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 turnovers, and 15 EFF.
Three of his 3-pointers came in the span of 94 seconds. The American guard nailed three 3-pointers in a row at the end of the 2nd quarter and helped Spain to build a safe lead before halftime.
"I mean, we're home. When you're at home, I feel like you have an advantage. They [Bahamas] came prepared. They got those guys played well. Great talents over there. NBA talent and other talent that they have.
So, you know, we came together defensively, and that's what got us the game," Brown concluded.
Brown and Spain face the next big challenge in Paris as they make their way into Group A, which was already labeled a Group of Death.
