American forward Daulton Hommes is returning to EuroLeague basketball after his 2022-2023 season with Baskonia. The former Pelicans player is expected to sign a deal with EuroLeague newcomers Paris Basketball, sources have told BasketNews.
After playing with Saski Baskonia in the 2022-2023 season, American wing Daulton Hommes is returning to EuroLeague basketball.
The former New Orleans Pelicans player is signing a deal with EuroLeague newcomers Paris Basketball, sources have told BasketNews. The deal is expected to be finalized in the next few days.
In the final weeks of last season, Hommes signed a short-term deal with Aquila Trento in Italy. The deal included an option for the following season, too, but the player maintained a EuroLeague escape, which now will be used to exit the contract with Trento.
In his season with Baskonia, Hommes averaged 7 points, 3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game in EuroLeague.
Paris Basketball recently announced Tiago Splitter as the new head coach of the club after the departure of Tuomas Iisalo, who joined the Memphis Grizzlies as an assistant coach.
This morning, the Italian newspaper "Il Corriere del Trentino" reported that Hommes was leaving Trento to join a EuroLeague club.
