Juan Nunez signs long-term deal with Barcelona

Juan Nunez, the San Antonio Spurs 36th pick in this year's NBA Draft, signed a 3-year deal until the end of the 2026-27 season with FC Barcelona.

FC Barcelona made the latest addition by signing Juan Nunez.

According to the club's announcement, the 20-year-old Nunez signed a 3-year deal until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Nunez averaged 10.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 15.4 PIR per game in 15 EuroCup appearances for Ratiopharm Ulm last season.

The San Antonio Spurs selected Nunez with the No. 36 pick in this year's NBA Draft.

"The Spurs are a great organization, and he's a great player and a point guard," Santi Aldama told BasketNews about the news that Spurs drafted Nunez. "With the guys that the Spurs have, him facilitating and moving the ball… I think he can be very good."

After playing with him for a few weeks in Spain's national team, Aldama believes Nunez was ready for the NBA from the get-go.

"If you ask me, definitely. Time will tell, but he's a great player," Aldama said.
