Franz Wagner had two incredible poster dunks in the game against France at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, with one of them being against Victor Wembanyama. After the game, the Orlando Magic star forward evaluated both of them.

In the first quarter, Johannes Voigtmann got a defensive rebound and immediately passed the ball to the running Franz Wagner. He brought the ball to the other side of the court and dunked on NBA Defensive Player of the Year runner-up Victor Wembanyama.

With a minute left in the third quarter, Wagner dribbled the ball past the entire French national team's defense and posterized two players this time, Mathias Lessort and Isaia Cordinier, sending shockwaves in the Pierre Mauroy Stadium.

Talking with BasketNews after the game, Franz chose the double poster as the better one.

"The second one. I don't know who was there, honestly. Whatever the second one was," he smiled when asked about the dunks.

"I don't even remember the first one, really," Moritz said about the poster over Wemby. "I think the second one was a little better."

Wagner's dunk on Wembanyama:

Alongside Franz Wagner was his brother, Moritz Wagner, who was as fired up as he was.

"It's super cool. Just to play in the Olympics is cool, just to be on a team like this is super cool, but I get to share it with family. It's a super unique situation, and I want to take advantage of it," Franz said about playing with his brother.

Franz Wagner finished the game with 26 points on 8-for-15 shooting and 5 rebounds in his account. After three quarters, he and Dennis Schroder had more points by themselves than the entire French squad combined (47 vs. 46).

"A special player, the motor of the group, the leader of the group. Super competitive. We play FIFA and ping pong all the time," Franz said while smiling. "We could play for hours. I think that just shows he ain't playing for anything other than winning the game. Every practice, he's super competitive. I think it helps everybody else raise their level and get to their own best."
