On the last day of the group stage of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, Team USA matches up against Puerto Rico to claim the top spot.

Puerto Rico has already been eliminated from the playoff contention after losing the first two matches to South Sudan and Serbia by a combined margin of 52 points.

Meanwhile, Team USA needs to win the game by at least five points to qualify as the first seed after the group stage. After the group stage, a separate draw will be held to determine the quarterfinal opponents, with the eight qualifying teams split into four pots.

Team USA will play without Jrue Holiday, who will be sidelined due to a minor ankle injury.
