Trapani Sharks have announced the signing of veteran Euroleague center Tibor Pleiss for next season, as ambitious Sicilian team secured promotion to Italy's top division.

Tibor Pleiss has been announced as a new signing of recently promoted Trapani Sharks, who will play in Italy's top division next season.
Pleiss signed with the ambitious Sicilian team until the end of the 2024-25 season.
The 34-year-old center from Germany has 13 seasons in the Euroleague behind him, most notably for Anadolu Efes Istanbul since 2018.
Last season, in Europe's premier competition, he averaged 7.8 points per game, 3.6 rebounds, and 0.7 assists, playing 18 minutes per match in 23 games.
