At 39 years old, LeBron James once again proved that age is sometimes just a number. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar registered a triple-double in the semifinal of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and was named the MVP of the entire tournament after the final against France.
James averaged 14.2 points on 66% shooting from the field, making 30.8% of his three-pointers. He also averaged 6.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game for a team-leading 23.5 efficiency.
LeBron also registered a triple-double against Serbia in the semifinal, collecting 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. He is the only player to have recorded a triple-double at the Olympics more than once, with his first one being against Australia in 2012.

Alongside James, the hero of the semifinal and the final, Stephen Curry, was also named into the All-Star Five of the Olympics.

This was the 4th Olympic Games for LeBron James and his 3rd gold medal. He averaged more rebounds, assists, and efficiency per game at 39 years old in Paris than in any other of the previous three Olympics. He scored more points per game (15.5) only in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
LeBron's first Olympics came in 2004 when Team USA suffered three sensational defeats and ultimately placed 3rd.
