Aleksej Pokusevski is expected to join Partizan Belgrade after getting waived by the Charlotte Hornets earlier in the offseason.
Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade are about to bring in one more player to the retooled roster.
According to SportKlub, Aleksej Pokusevski is expected to become the newest member or the black-and-white organization. Mozzart Sport and Meridian Sport later confirmed the report.
Pokusevski was a free agent after getting waived by the Charlotte Hornets earlier in the offseason.
He was called up for the training camp of the Serbian national team this summer, but was among the last four players cut before the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Pokusevski averaged 7.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game for the Hornets during the 2023-24 season after getting waived by the Oklahoma City Thunder mid-season.
While Partizan has agreed to contracts with more than 10 players, the club's president, Ostoja Mijailovic, declared in July that the signings would be made official only in mid-August.
