Guerschon Yabusele officially left Real Madrid ahead of his move to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Real Madrid officially confirmed that the French forward Guerschon Yabusele is leaving the team.
Yabusele is set to join the Philadelphia 76ers on a 1-year, $2.1 million minimum deal, as was reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 28-year-old recently played a key role in leading the French national team to a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where he averaged 14.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game.
Yabusele had two great games in the semifinal and the final, scoring 17 and 20 points, respectively.
In the 2023-24 season with Real Madrid, Yabusele averaged 10.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.0 assist, and 14.2 PIR per game in 27 EuroLeague appearances.
In three seasons with Real Madrid, Yabusele has won 7 titles: one EuroLeague, 2 Spanish ACB League trophies, 1 Copa del Rey title, and 3 Spanish Super Cups.
Yabusele, the 16th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, previously played for the Boston Celtics from 2017 to 2019. He averaged just 2.3 points in seven minutes of playing time over 74 NBA games.
Following two seasons with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in his native France, he signed with Real Madrid in 2021. He has won two Spanish League titles and the 2023 EuroLeague with Los Blancos.
