Maccabi announced the departure of Daryl Macon due to his injury status after an ACL surgery last season.
Despite signing the guard just a month prior, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv have parted ways with Daryl Macon Jr.
The Israeli organization officially announced that Macon is leaving the team. The 28-year-old guard arrived after having suffered an ACL injury last season that required surgery.
The initial projection was for the player to join the active roster in November. However, Maccabi determined that the best way for the player would be to undergo intensive rehab in the United States instead of a less intense rehab in Israel.

Macon had signed a one-year deal with Maccabi with an option for another season. The contract was terminated on a mutual agreement.
Macon competed in China last season, representing the Shenzhen Leopards in the CBA. He last played in the EuroLeague during the 2021-22 season when he wore the colors of Panathinaikos Athens.
