Hayes-Davis played a crucial role in the win, contributing 20 points and four rebounds while shooting 50% from the field. His aggressive approach in the second half was key to shifting the momentum in Fenerbahce's favor.
Hayes-Davis revealed that during halftime, his mother and former teammate Georgios Papagiannis encouraged him to be more aggressive in the second half.

"At halftime, my mom told me, 'Go out there and be aggressive.' [Georgios] Papagiannis texted me and said, 'Go out there, be you, and play free.'," Fenerbahce forward revealed. "When I got on the court, all the guys told me [the same]. Marko [Guduric] was the last one I talked to."
"He was, like, 'Go out there and be aggressive.' So, just tryna be aggressive. Still, it almost cost us a win. I missed like 5 layups. I really need to get in the gym and do some fundamental drills and some layups. I have to be tougher around the rim. I'm looking for contact, and when it doesn't come, I'm missing easy layups. I need to fix that," he continued.
Hayes-Davis also emphasized the importance of tonight's victory, adding that the team must continue to improve.
"Every game is important; this is our "home" game, and it's always important to take care of the home runs in your league because they really add up at the end of the year," he said. "We have a lot to learn again, we are still a new team."
Finally, Hayes-Davis also praised Dyshawn Pierre for his contribution to the win.
Pierre played 11 minutes, accumulating 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 5 PIR.
"It's a big testament to his character and professionalism," Hayes-Davis said. "There were two or three EuroLeague games where he didn't play a minute, yet he always came to practice, got his lift in, played hard, and pushed me and the other guys. I am very proud of him for contributing to this win."
