Zalgiris head coach Andrea Trinchieri returns for EuroLeague Round 6 after illness, following a 100-82 loss under assistant Tautvydas Sabonis.
Zalgiris Kaunas head coach Andrea Trinchieri will return to the bench for EuroLeague Round 6 after missing Sunday's Lithuanian League game due to illness, as reported by Sport Klub.
Trinchieri, now feeling well, led the team's training session on Wednesday morning.
In his absence, assistant coach Tautvydas Sabonis -- son of legendary Arvydas Sabonis and older brother of Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis -- stepped in to coach the team. However, Zalgiris fell 100-82 to EuroCup's BC Wolves on the road.
Zalgiris have showcased the league's top defense through the first five rounds of EuroLeague play, with a strong 4-1 record.
They'll take on Crvena Zvezda at home, with the game set to tip off at 19:00 CET on Wednesday.
