Brown had initially planned to depart for the match, but his condition prevented him from traveling.
He joins Marius Grigonis and Kostas Antetokounmpo, who are also sidelined, leaving the Greens with a depleted roster.
Panathinaikos head coach Ergin Ataman also provided an update on Kostas Sloukas's status ahead of their EuroLeague game against Virtus Bologna.
"After the game, he did not practice. We don't know yet. We will see him tonight at training. If he's good, we'll count him in for tomorrow. But it takes time," Ataman said.
On his team’s recent struggles with slow starts, especially in away games, Ataman stressed the importance of starting strong.
"We have to start the game with more concentration because away from home if you find yourself behind by 10-15 points, it is difficult to turn the game around," Ataman said. "We did it in Belgrade against Red Star, but you have to play 40 minutes of the same basketball."
The coach also emphasized the need for consistent energy and focus throughout the game.
"Basketball is not all about offense. You have to play basketball all over the court, defense, and offense for all players," he added. "In European basketball, all teams are difficult. If you play 50-60%, you cannot win. You must play at least 90% energy level," Ataman concluded.
