Anthony Randolph retires from basketball, he announced on social media. German-born American and naturalized Slovenian had plenty of success in his career, but due to several injuries in the last few years, Randolph was sidelined for the most time, which probably put an end to his career at 35 years old.

After being drafted 14th overall, and spending a few seasons in the NBA, playing for teams like Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Denver Nuggets, Randolf decided to join Lokomotiva Kuban.

A big turnaround in his career, as he found his path to success in Europe, unlike the NBA, Randolph became a big name in the EuroLeague, becoming one of the best power forwards in the league.

He is most famous for his appearances in the Real Madrid and Slovenian basketball national team. Winning the gold medal for Slovenia in 2017 against Serbia is one of his biggest achievements, as he played a huge role in the finals and during the entire EuroBasket.

With Real Madrid, Randolph has won two EuroLeague titles, in his career in the EuroLeague he has averaged 10,3 points and 4,2 rebounds.
