Despite being currently at the bottom of the EuroLeague table, German side ALBA Berlin is still looking at ways to improve its roster for the second part of the season.

After the departure of Trevion Williams, who joined Maccabi Tel Aviv, ALBA is on the market to add another frontcourt player to its roster.

According to BasketNews sources, the German club is showing strong interest in American forward James Webb III, who started the season in Turkiye with Pinar Karsiyaka. There's a certain confidence that the two sides will reach a deal, sources have told BasketNews.

The Turkish team, in fact, has been dealing with financial issues this season and some of the foreign players are expected to leave the club soon, including big man Jerry Boutsiele.

Webb has also received interest from other clubs but, at the moment, ALBA looks like the front-runner to sign the forward.

James Webb played with Maccabi Tel Aviv last season, averaging 6.2 points and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 33% from deep.

This season, Webb averaged 10.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game with Pinar in the Basketball Champions League.
