Trapani Sharks announced on their website that they are negotiating with Barcelona about a loan of talented Italian point guard Dame Sarr. Trapani denied reports of the deal agreement, stating that negotiations are still ongoing.
Rumors have circulated in the last few days around Europe about Barcelona agreeing to loan Dame Sarr to his native Italy, specifically to Trapani Sharks.
Italian club decided to release a public announcement regarding that matter, clarifying the reral truth about that situation.
Trapani confirmed that they want Sarr in their squad, and said that negotiations with all the sides are still ongoing.
It has also been said that any rumors and articles about the loan completion are false, and that in order for the agreement to be completed there are still some things that must be sorted.
Sarr played 8 times this season in the EuroLeague, where the 18 year-old averaged 1.4 points, 1.3 EFF and 66.7% 2PT, participating in 4:06 minutes per game.
