Back on December 12, Real Madrid got absolutely outplayed by Zalgiris Kaunas at home, leaving everyone scratching their heads and questioning what was going wrong with the Spanish powerhouse.
Fast forward to January 10, and things couldn't look more different. Los Blancos crushed Zalgiris by 19 points in Kaunas and are now riding a five-game EuroLeague winning streak.
They're one of the hottest teams in the EuroLeague right now, right up there with the Greek giants, and have won 10 of their last 11 games across all competitions.

What's changed from a shaky 6-9 EuroLeague record to a solid 11-9 in just one month?
"Nothing," Dzanan Musa responded to BasketNews after the EuroLeague Round 20 win in Kaunas. "The rhythm of the team, the confidence of the team grew up. I think we already made a statement in practices that we want to work harder."
"We know that we're a better team than we showed at the beginning of the season," Musa went on to say. "Now, we're showing it, and we're very happy about it."
"I think we improved," big man Walter Tavares added. "We played against them [Zalgiris] about one month ago, so we knew what kind of mistakes we made. When you play the first game, the second is always going to be much better."

But even if Musa says "nothing" changed, the team did have one particular gathering that
