Tyrone Wallace joins Galatasaray

Galatasaray sign American guard Tyrone Wallace, who started the season in the EuroLeague playing for Zalgiris Kaunas, but parted ways with the club due to personal reasons.

Galatasaray announced the signing of 30-year-old American guard Tyrone Wallace. The deal is until the end of the 2024-25 season.

Wallace was one of the best scorers in the EuroCup the last couple of seasons and started this campaign in the EuroLeague with Zalgiris Kaunas.

He played only two games there before agreeing with the club to leave due to personal reasons.

Currently, Galatasaray are fighting for a place in the Top 16 of the Basketball Champions League, where they are facing Saint-Quentin in a best-of-three Play-In series and are currently tied 1-1.

Last season with Turk Telekom, Wallace averaged 17.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in the EuroCup and helped them reach the eighthfinals of the competition.

Before coming to Europe, Wallace spent 6 years in the NBA and the G League, his longest tenure being with the Los Angeles Clippers, where he made 92 regular-season appearances and his debut in the playoffs in 2019.
