The Greek Cup Final 8 draw was held on Monday, setting a path for Olympiacos and Panathinaikos to meet only in the Final.
The Greek Cup Final 8 draw was held before today's highly anticipated clash between Olympiacos Piraeus and Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens in the Stoiximan Greek Basketball League (GBL).
The teams were seeded based on their standings after the first half of the 2024-25 GBL Regular Season. This means Panathinaikos, Olympiacos, PAOK mateco, and Promitheas Patras were placed first through fourth.
The other four teams contain NE Megaridas, who have won the UNICEF Trophy, AEK Betsson BC, Kardita laponiki, and Peristeri Domino's fifth through eight.
The quarter-finals, which take place on February 12-13, will have these teams facing each other:
- Panathinaikos – Peristeri (February 12)
- Promitheas – NE Megaridas (February 12)
- Olympiacos – Karditsa Iaponiki (February 13)
- PAOK – AEK (February 13)
Four of them will move on to play in the semi-finals on February 14th. Only two of them will remain to clash at the final for the Greek Cup on February 16th.
Panathinaikos and Olympiacos are set to play in the Final if they win in the quarter-finals and semi-finals. The Final 8 will be hosted in Iraklio.
