Give Me Control focuses on the Panathinaikos-Zalgiris game and takes a look at the technical foul for Ergin Ataman, the management and communications that took place afterward. We also examine the technical foul that was called on Lonnie Walker IV in the 4th quarter: correct call – or a foul on Cedi Osman?
In a season already full of referee controversies, the EuroLeague may have found a new way to confound its fans, coaches, and players during last night's Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens come-from-behind victory over Zalgiris Kaunas.
With 3:18 remaining in the 3rd quarter, Panathinaikos head coach Ergin Ataman was ejected apparently because of a third technical foul called against his bench (and not a fan).
Still, the entire sequence was accompanied by general confusion and lack of clarity.

We also examine the technical foul that was called on Zalgiris' Lonnie Walker IV at 7:08 in the 4th quarter: correct call – or a foul on Cedi Osman?
In his post-game comments, Zalgiris head coach Andrea Trinchieri noted:
"I don't know where we're going… This kind of contact... I'm trying to study the game to find a solution, but I don't have it for now."
Does the coach have a point? Give Me Control breaks down the 2nd half and looks at illegal screens, off-ball situations, traveling, 3 seconds, block-charge plays – and more.
