Robert Baker, who started his pro career in Europe in 2021 and is currently the president of the G Players Union, has signed a deal with ALBA Berlin until the end of the 2024-25 season.
Having just played for Team USA at the FIBA AmeriCup Qualifiers, Robert Baker II is now strengthening ALBA Berlin's frontcourt in the EuroLeague and the BBL.
The German club has signed the 26-year-old until the end of the current season. The American big man, who plays both the power forward and center positions, is moving from the Osceola Magic of the NBA G League to Berlin. The news was first reported by BasketNews' Donatas Urbonas.
Baker made the leap to the pros in 2021 in the Slovakian league with Iskra Svit before joining the Stockton Kings in the NBA G League in October of the same year.

After an appearance in the 2024 NBA Summer League with the Atlanta Hawks, Baker was briefly signed to a contract with the Orlando Magic in October.
