Incident occurred with less than 7 minutes to go in the first quarter, with Will Rayman missing a three-point shot.
As ASVEL tried to enter the fast break, Rayman unsuccessfully swiped at the ball which was in Maledon's hands, hitting him in the process of doing so.
Maledon injured his finger and did not return to the court for the rest of the first half, hence probably not playing anymore tonight.
