Promitheas Patras guard Jordan Walker delivered a historic performance, breaking the Basketball Champions League (BCL) scoring record in a thrilling overtime victory against Würzburg 119-115.
Walker erupted for 54 points on 12-of-19 shooting, including 9-of-13 from beyond the arc and an incredible 21-of-22 from the free-throw line. He also contributed 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the efficiency rating of 58, cementing one of the greatest individual performances in BCL history.
His 54-point explosion shattered the previous single-game scoring record of 43 points, held by fellow American guards Saben Lee and Keifer Sykes.
This is Walker's debut season in Europe and only his second as a professional. Last year, he played in three different leagues—the NBA G League, Puerto Rico, and China—before making the move to Greece.
So far this season, Walker is averaging 23.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game in the Basketball Champions League.
