Anadolu Efes Istanbul stunned everyone with a dominant blowout victory on the road against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade 97-65.

After the game, Efes guard Shane Larkin, who recorded 11 points and 4 rebounds, spoke about the incredible atmosphere in Belgrade.

"Even as a visiting player, you can hear the energy in the arena. It feels like a spectacle. It’s something you have to experience live to understand how much passion their fans have," Larkin said via Meridian Sports.

"I was just talking about it in the locker room. I think Obradovic might have the best entrance onto the court in sports history, considering the kind of support he has and the aura he carries with this club. It’s impressive to see," he added.

Belgrade also holds special memories for Larkin, as Efes won its second EuroLeague title here in 2022.

"Every time I step onto the court here, those memories come back. I still think about how I felt that day when I was trying to achieve something very special with the team," Larkin recalled.

"But you always have to stay in the present, in the moment, because at the end of the day, that all happened three years ago. We are now trying to accomplish special things. That’s why today’s game was more important than anything else," he said.

Larkin also weighed in on the potential return of his former teammate and close friend, Vasilije Micic, to the EuroLeague, saying that Micic remains open to opportunities.

"Vasa and I talk all the time; he is a good friend of mine. We have a shared history. He is happy where he is, but he is definitely open to opportunities," Larkin stated.

"I believe he will make the best decision for himself, but I am sure that many people in Europe miss his game because when he’s here, he is one of the best players. I’ll see him soon, and we’ll see what he decides."
